In 2011, there were 25 varieties of bulk pharmaceutical raw materials with export value of more than 100 million US dollars, 3 more than that in 2010, mainly concentrated in vitamins, food additives and antibiotic raw materials. Heparin sodium ranked first again with a total amount of US $900 million. Citric acid rose from the fourth place last year to the second place; the two major vitamin varieties -- vitamin C and vitamin E moved to the third and fourth places; the export volume of vitamin B1 and tylosin exceeded US $100 million; the export volume of penicillin industrial salt and azithromycin dropped to less than US $100 million.
